Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and former Army chief General VK Singh on Monday demanded for an immediate dissolution of Parliament and early elections of the Lok Sabha. The duo came down heavily on the UPA over its recent controversial decisions including Foreign Direct Investment, increase in the price of LPG gas and diesel.

Terming the current governance as unconstitutional, Hazare said that the recent reshuffle only aimed in misleading people, and it would not bring any change, and demanded a change which brings about by educating people. This was made while asking masses to support him for the yearlong movement from January 30 next year. With this tour the duo aimed to provide the people courage to come forward and raise their voice against the injustice meted out to them.  Hazare once again stated that he would support Arvind Kejriwal if he stands for elections.

Further, Hazare added that a new Parliament needs to be elected for which people must elect their candidates who measure up their aspirations for ensuring that the Constitution is followed in letter and spirit. And also, he criticised the Prime Minister for claiming that allowing foreign direct investment (FDI) is the only option to improve economy of the country.
