In the poll-bound West Bengal (WB) polling for the Seventh Phase of Assembly Elections is progressing smoothly. The average voter turnout was registered at 55.12 per cent till noon in 34 Assembly seats spread over five districts. A total of 286 candidates, including 37 women are in the fray in this phase of election. The polling, which began at 7.00 am will be conducted till 6.30 pm. The polling for the eight Phase will be held on 29th April and the counting of votes will be taken up together on May 2.
