Bond yields traded flat on Monday, amid RBI’s data stated that the foreign exchange reserves rose by $1.193 billion to reach $582.406 billion in the week ended April 16.

In the global market, Traders left U.S. Treasury yields in a narrow range on Friday as they weighed the political prospects of a new tax plan from President Joe Biden and the direction of Federal Reserve policy. Further, oil prices eased slightly on concerns that a resurgence of coronavirus infections in India and Japan, the world's third and fourth largest oil importers, would cut fuel demand in Asia.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading flat with its previous close of 6.03% on Friday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 1 basis point lower at 5.42% from its previous close of 5.43% on Friday.
