Copper futures ended higher on Tuesday, triggered by robust demand against supply worries in the world’s top producer Chile. However, a lot of metal investors are more concerned about the impact of the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on Wednesday.
Copper futures for May delivery gained $0.0470 to settle at $4.4880 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.07% at $9,855.50 a ton.
