Physical Rubber prices witnessed some improvement on Tuesday, despite supply shortages in the market. Although, concerns over resurgence of Covid-19 cases in the Country capped further gains in rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 163.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 160.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg.
In the futures market, May delivery gained to Rs 165.40 compared to its previous closing of Rs 165.33 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
