Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Thursday, tracking moderate recovery in overseas markets against supply shortage globally. However, concerns over resurgence of Covid-19 cases in the Country capped further gains. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 165/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 164/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 162/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 161/ kg.
In the futures market, May delivery gained to Rs 166 compared to its previous closing of Rs 165.90 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
