Gold futures finished higher on Wednesday rebounding from earlier losses, as the slashing US Treasury yields and dollar provided some support to the bullion buying. Moreover, safe haven bets due to growing uncertainties over global economic rebound amid continued surge of novel corona infections also added the upward momentum.
Gold futures for June jumped by 0.5% or $8.30 to settle at $1,784.30 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose 0.3% to $1,784.23 per ounce.
