Bharti Airtel has informed that subject to the provisions of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors of the Company, in its meeting held on Monday, May 17, 2021, has recommended the re-appointment of Sunil Bharti Mittal as the Chairman of the Company for a further term of five years with effective from October 01, 2021. The details as required to be disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular dated September 9, 2015, are enclosed as ‘Annexure A’.
