Bharti Airtel declines despite turning black in Q4

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 538.70, down by 10.85 points or 1.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 549.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 547.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 552.85 and Rs. 537.10 respectively. So far 846837 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 623.00 on 04-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 394.05 on 19-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 569.20 and Rs. 537.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 297722.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.92% and 5.16% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has reported net profit of Rs 456.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021against net loss of Rs 6,882.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.16% at Rs 17,638.90 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 15,726.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 759.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 against net loss of Rs 5,237 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.36% at Rs 25,831.20 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 23,838.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss of Rs 25197.60 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 36088.20 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 17.95% at Rs 66,713.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 56,559.60 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 15,083.50 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 32,183.20 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 17.45% at Rs 101,258.60 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 86,212.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
