Convergence Energy Services to procure 300 electric vehicles from Tata Motors

Convergence Energy Services (CESL) is planning to procure 300 electric vehicles from Tata Motors. The procurement is a part of the Scaling up Demand-Side Energy Efficiency Sector Project financed by the Asian Development Bank’s line of credit to CESL. Convergence Energy Services -- a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) placed a Letter of Award in favour of Tata Motors for the procurement of 300 electric cars with 3 years of warranty.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
