Indian Oil Corporation has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.
The company has reported net profit at Rs 8781.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 5185.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.04% at Rs 164707.34 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 140723.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit attributed to the equityholders at Rs 9026.49 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 7782.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.31% at Rs 166319.89 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 142999.36 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported 16-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 21836.04 crore as compared to Rs 1313.23 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 8.86% at Rs 519441.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 569908.27 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit attributed to the shareholders at Rs 21638.21 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 893.14 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 9.51% at Rs 523736.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 578763.32 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
