Sandu Pharmaceuticals has informed that due to effects of Tauktae Cyclone in Goa there was fire accident at factory at plot no 25,26 29 and 30 at Pilerne Industrial Estate, Marra, Saligao Bardez Goa 403511 on 19th May 2021 at around 11.20 pm at night. Fortunately, there has been no loss or Injury to human Life. The Fire was controlled within the time causing the least effect on Plant and Machinery. However, the Company is in the process of ascertaining the actual loss caused by the Fire. The company Plant has been shut down due to fire accident from 20th May 2021 for couple of days and the Company is taking adequate steps to ensure recommissioning of the plant at the earliest.
