JSW Steel has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.
The company has reported 16- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 4018 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 242 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 59.46% at Rs 24593 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 15423 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported many fold jump in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 4198 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 231 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 50.45% at Rs 27095 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 18009 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported 58.63% rise in its net profit at Rs 8393 crore as compared to Rs 5291 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.03% at Rs 71396 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 64890 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 96.30% rise in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 7911 crore as compared to Rs 4030 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.88% at Rs 80431 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 73872 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
