22 May 2021 Evaluate
Snapping six day winning gold futures ended lower on Friday, though managed to post third straight weekly gain. The yellow metal lost its lustre as the greenback got stronger with the better than expected US manufacturing data, making the bullion costlier for other currency holders.

Gold futures for June slipped by 0.3% to settle at $1,876.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold trimmed by 0.1% to $1,876.42 per ounce.
