The Ramco Cements reports 51% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

The Ramco Cements has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported 46.65% rise in its net profit at Rs 214.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 146.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.07% at Rs 1640.45 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 1401.27 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 51.08% rise in its net profit attributable to equityholders at Rs 216.16 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 143.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.93% at Rs 1641.53 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 1403.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported 26.62% rise in its net profit at Rs 761.08 crore as compared to Rs 601.09 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally decreased by 1.90% at Rs 5303.08 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5405.64 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 29.71% rise in its net profit attributable to equityholders at Rs 783.64 crore as compared to Rs 604.14 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 1.87% at Rs 5321.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5422.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
