Physical rubber prices weaken further on Thursday

Physical rubber prices weakened further on Thursday, lacking quantity buyers from the tyre sector.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety weakened to Rs 176/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 177/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 172/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 173/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of November delivery concluded at Rs 177.84 compared to its previous closing of Rs 177.31, while December delivery closed at Rs 179 compared to its previous closing of Rs 178.75 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
