Liberty Phosphate soars on reporting 19% rise in Q2 net profit

Liberty Phosphate is currently trading at Rs. 180.50, up by 4.40 points or 2.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 176.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 177.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 183.00 and Rs. 175.15 respectively. So far 45804 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 184.70 on 19-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.20 on 21-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 183.00 and Rs. 168.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 255.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.91% while Non-Institutions held 39.09% stake in the company.

Liberty Phosphate has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported 19.06% rise in its net profit at Rs 13.12 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 11.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 27.55% at Rs 140.80 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 110.39 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
