Suzlon Energy rises on bagging new order of 252 MW wind power project

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 5.98, up by 0.06 points or 1.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 5.92 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6.15 and Rs. 5.96 respectively. So far 2685056 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 8.68 on 08-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.71 on 16-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6.15 and Rs. 5.61 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5235.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 17.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.76% and 62.07% respectively.

Suzlon Energy has bagged new order for development of a 252 MW wind power project from CLP India. Suzlon will install 120 units of S120-140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project is located in Sidhpur, Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned in 2022.

Suzlon will execute the project with a scope of supply, foundation, erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services post commissioning.
