Adani Ports surges on handling cargo volume of 25.65 MMT in May

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone is currently trading at Rs. 815.35, up by 17.20 points or 2.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 798.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 803.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 824.00 and Rs. 802.90 respectively. So far 652025 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 885.00 on 07-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 298.10 on 27-Jul-2020.

In the container segment, in May 2021, the company handled container volume of 0.72 MN TEU’s, thus registering a growth of 67 % on Year-on-Year basis. In May 2021, Mundra port handled container volume of 0.56 MN TEU’s, thus registering a growth of 61% on Year on Year basis.
