Gold futures ended higher on Monday, kindled by the weaker dollar making the yellow metal less expensive for third currency holders. However, the stronger US Treasury bond yield notes capped some gains of the precious metal. The bullion posted below $1900 key resistance for third straight session.
Gold futures for August jumped by 0.4% or $6.80 at $1,898.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was up by 0.3% to $1,895.77 per ounce.
