Alkem Laboratories, Tata Power and Godrej Properties to see some action today

Alkem Laboratories has launched Perampil (Perampanel) tablets 2 mg/4 mg/6 mg on June 9, 2021 to make the treatment accessible to patients and healthcare providers improving their quality of life. Alkem has launched Perampil, at 2 mg Rs 49 per strip of 7 tablets, 4 mg Rs 180 per strip of 15 tablets and 6 mg – Rs 300 per strip of 15 tablets, to improve patient access.

Tata Power Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- Coastal Gujarat Power has raised Rs 570 crore through Unsecured, Rated, Listed, Taxable, Guaranteed, Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis issued for a tenor of 3 years.

Godrej Projects Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Godrej Properties, has acquired 20% issued and paid-up share capital of Vagishwari Land Developers (VLDPL). Pursuant to the said acquisition, VLDPL has become an associate company of Godrej Projects Development and consequently of Godrej Properties.

NHPC’s Board of Directors has approved the proposal for raising of Debt upto Rs 4300 crore during financial year 2021-22 through issuance of secured, redeemable, taxable, non-cumulative, non-convertible taxable Corporate Bonds in one or more series/tranches on private placement basis and/or raising of Term loans / External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) in suitable tranches.

Ion Exchange has received Letter of Award (LoA) and contract from State Water Supply and Sanitation Mission, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department under Jal Jeevan Mission for two EPC projects, for survey, design, preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), supply, construction and commissioning of water treatment plant and O&M for 10 years for rural drinking water supply to 1000 villages in two districts of Uttar Pradesh i.e. Varanasi and Aligarh.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is planning to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore by issuing debt securities on a private placement basis to augment its long-term resources. The secured redeemable non-convertible debentures for an issue size of Rs 2,000 crore will be open for bid on June 14, 2021 and closes on the same day.

Yes Bank has received an approval for borrowing funds in Indian/foreign currency up to Rs 10,000 crore by issuing debt securities. The types of debt securities to be issued include non-convertible debentures, bonds, medium-term note (MTN), among others. The board of directors in its meeting held on June 10, 2021, considered and approved seeking shareholders' approval for the same.

ICICI Securities, a leading financial services company, has joined hands with IIT Kanpur to support the domestic manufacturing of oxygen concentrators on the scale. The financial service firm has extended funding to the institute's Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) for Mission Bharat O2 (MBO2). The project will support local manufacturers to develop oxygen concentrators through a three-pronged approach -- rapid product development, centralized sourcing, and decentralized manufacturing.
