Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm -- Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has started 5G field trial network using its own indigenously developed equipment and technology in Mumbai. The network went live quickly after receiving a trial spectrum from the DoT (Department of Telecommunications).
