Moreover, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded shares worth Rs 879.73 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth of Rs 45.24 crore in the Indian equity market on Thursday, exchange data showed.

The partially convertible currency is currently trading at 74.16, weaker by 8 paise from its previous close of 74.08 on Thursday. The currency touched a high and low of 74.2725 and 74.10 respectively. The reference rate for the dollar stood at 72.99, and for Euro stood 88.84 on June 10, 2021.
