Lupin has launched Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablets 200 mg/300 mg, having received an approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablets 200 mg/300 mg, are the generic equivalent of Truvada Tablets 200 mg/300 mg, of Gilead Sciences, Inc., and indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.

MOIL has signed a pact with the Madhya Pradesh government and the Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation (MPSMCL) to explore the options of manganese ore mining in four districts of the state. The four districts of Madhya Pradesh are Balaghat, Jabalpur, Jhabua, and Chhindwara. MOIL has carried out detailed remote sensing studies with the help of the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) ISRO, Hyderabad, in order to identify the manganese-bearing areas.

Ircon International has been awarded the railway electrification work of Rs 659 crore, to be executed on EPC mode, from North Frontier Railways (NFR), Ministry of Railways. This work has been awarded on competitive bidding basis among PSUs by NFR.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) is planning to raise Rs 250 crore through rated, unsecured, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) having face value of Rs 10,00,000, by way of private placement. The Board of Directors’ meeting will be held on June 30, 2021 to consider and approve the same.

IndusInd Bank has acquired over 70 lakh shares in tea company Mcleod Russel after invoking pledged shares of the company to recover its dues. Equity shares of the tea company, held by Ichamati Investments, were pledged with the bank for securing the outstanding dues of borrower Mcleod Russel India (MRIL).

Shree Renuka Sugars’ board has approved further capacity expansion of ethanol production from 970 KLPD to 1400 KLPD. The government of India has mandated 20% ethanol blending in fuel by 2025 against a current blending of 7.79%. Considering this, the company sees a huge untapped demand for ethanol for the ethanol blending program of the Government of India which can be of benefit to the company in the future. The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on June 25, 2021, inter?alia, approved the same.
