Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Monday on account of subdued demand, while extremely low volumes in the market also weighed on rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 168.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 169/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 166/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.50/ kg.
In the futures market, July delivery lost to Rs 173 compared to its previous closing of Rs 173.37 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
