Voltas has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported 18.20% rise in its net profit at Rs 47.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 40.56 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 4.57% at Rs 1128.87 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1079.57 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted 2.53% jump in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 42.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 41.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Group’s total income has increased by 3.21% at Rs 1182.75 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1146.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
