Chennai Petroleum Corporation gains on raising Rs 775 crore through bonds

Chennai Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 145.85, up by 1.30 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 144.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 144.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 151.80 and Rs. 143.65 respectively. So far 133714 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 149.40 on 24-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 63.75 on 16-Oct-2020.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation has raised Rs 775 crore through Unsecured, Listed, Rated, Senior, Redeemable, Non- Cumulative, Taxable, Non Convertible Bonds in the nature of Debentures and allotted 7750 bonds of Rs 10 lakh each on Private Placement basis for tenor of 3 years to meet the funding of CAPEX and financing business activities.
