India Grid Trust has informed that pursuant to Share Subscription and Purchase Agreement (SSPA) dated April 30, 2019, as amended, Electron IM PTE. Ltd., an affiliate of KKR & Co. Inc., (Electron) has completed acquisition of Subsequent Tranche Shares constituting 14% equity holding of IndiGrid Investment Managers (IIML) (Investment Manager of India Grid Trust) from Sterlite Power Transmission ('the SPTL' or 'the Sponsor'). Post-acquisition, Electron holds 74% stake in IIML.
