Tata Steel rises on transferring stake in HSMS, TSAML to subsidiaries

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 1139.30, up by 3.35 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 1135.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1150.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1150.00 and Rs. 1136.10 respectively. So far 143210 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1246.80 on 12-May-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 328.15 on 03-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1195.00 and Rs. 1130.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 137179.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.72% and 20.79% respectively.

Tata Steel has transferred 26 percent stake in Himalaya Steel Mill Services (HSMS) to Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services (TSUISL) for an undisclosed amount. TSUISL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Steel. It has also transferred its 100 per cent stake held in Tata Steel Advanced Materials (TSAML) to another subsidiary company Tata Steel Downstream Products (TSDPL).
