Physical Rubber prices trade higher on Monday

Physical Rubber prices traded higher on Monday supported by strong demand even as rising Covid-19 infections capped gains. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 166/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 165.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 163/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 162.50/ kg.

In the futures market, July delivery inched up to Rs 172.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 172.47 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
