GNFC has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported 10.46% fall in its net profit at Rs 72.38 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 80.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 14.22% at Rs 1165.77 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1020.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertiliser Company (GNFC) was set up in Bharuch, Gujarat in the year 1976. The company is a joint sector enterprise that was promoted by the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Fertilizer Company (GSFC).
