Cyient zooms on reporting 41% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Cyient is currently trading at Rs. 968.50, up by 21.05 points or 2.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 947.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 940.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 994.00 and Rs. 910.95 respectively. So far 66335 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 995.00 on 15-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 273.15 on 16-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 995.00 and Rs. 838.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10602.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.71% and 16.83% respectively.

Cyient has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The company has reported 0.66% rise in its net profit of Rs 91.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 90.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.39% at Rs 416.20 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 410.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 41.28% rise in its net profit attributable to shareholders of Rs 115.00 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 81.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 2.25% at Rs 1083.90 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 1060.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
