Essar Shipping’s handysize vessels Tvisha and Tuhina are engaged in the export of rice from India to Bangladesh, which would boost bilateral trade. As per the recent trade agreement signed between the two neighboring countries, Bangladesh is set to buy 150,000 tonnes of rice from India. It is the first such bilateral deal in the last three years. As new export deals are slated to be signed with neighboring nations in the coming months, the company's vessels will also be engaged in trade in continuation within this region.

Essar Shipping is an integrated supply chain solution provider with investments in sea transportation and contract drilling services.
