Majesco jumps on getting nod to acquire 51% stake in K2V2 Technologies

Majesco is currently trading at Rs. 92.35, up by 1.40 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 90.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.00 and Rs. 91.95 respectively. So far 90561 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 122.70 on 03-Mar-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5.57 on 24-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.00 and Rs. 88.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 265.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.06% and 64.90% respectively.

Majesco has received approval from board of directors to acquire 51% (on a fully diluted basis) stake in K2V2 Technologies (K2V2) for an aggregate cash consideration of Rs 40 crore. The investment is in line with Majesco’s strategy to create an integrated digital and technology ecosystem focused on complete value chain of Real Estate. The board of directors at its meeting held on July 23, 2021, has approved the same.

Majesco enables insurance business transformation for approximately 150 insurance customers by providing solutions which include software, consulting and services.
