Prataap Snacks rises on commencing commercial production at Howrah unit

Prataap Snacks is currently trading at Rs. 742.00, up by 14.00 points or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 728.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 718.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 744.30 and Rs. 718.00 respectively. So far 2228 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 826.50 on 12-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 484.65 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 796.45 and Rs. 715.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1707.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.15% and 7.37% respectively.

Prataap Snacks has commenced commercial production at its newly set up Unit situated at Mouza - New Kolorah, Police Station - Domjur, District - Howrah, West Bengal on July 26, 2021. The aforesaid Unit has been set up for production of extruded snacks, pellets and other snacks with a capacity of about 6,000 MT per annum.
