KRBL has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported net profit of Rs 54.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to net loss of Rs 24.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 45.74% at Rs 571.46 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 392.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
KRBL manufactures products like rice bran oil, furfural and de-oiled cakes. The husk is utilized to extract furfural and the bran used to produce around 50 tonnes of rice bran. It has a total bran oil capacity of 42 MTPD and furfural of 10 MTPD.
