Sarda Energy & Minerals (SEML) has received consent from Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for its Gare Palma IV/7 coal mine at Raigarh upto a production level of 1.2 million tons/year. The consent is valid upto March 31, 2024.

Sarda Energy & Minerals (SEML) is one of the lowest cost producers of steel (sponge iron, billets, ingots, TMT bars) and one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of ferro alloys in India.
