RIL trades higher on the bourses

Reliance Industries (RIL) is currently trading at Rs. 798.80, up by 2.20 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 796.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 794.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 803.55 and Rs. 793.40 respectively. So far 78283 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 895.95 on 14-Nov-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 671.00 on 08-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 808.00 and Rs. 790.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 259758.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.24% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.55% and 22.78% respectively.

Reliance Industries (RIL) has awarded a contract to the subsidiaries of global engineering and construction group - Foster Wheeler AG for the provision of engineering and procurement services for its Paraxylene Project at Jamnagar in Gujarat State, on the west coast of India. This project is part of the company’s multi-billion-dollar expansion project at its world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex.

The scope of work will include detailed engineering, licensor coordination and procurement services for the new Paraxylene plant. The project will be executed from Foster Wheeler’s Indian and UK operations.

Foster Wheeler AG is a global engineering and construction company and power equipment supplier delivering technically advanced, reliable facilities and equipment.
