Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has successfully carried out the Ground Run and Low Speed Taxi Trials (LSTT) of the Hindustan-228 (VT-KNR) aircraft, for DGCA 'Type Certification'. The event was part of the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence Day celebrations at HAL's Kanpur facility.

HAL is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
