GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals has reported results for third quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported 4.44% rise in its net profit from ordinary activities at Rs 152.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 145.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 9.93% at Rs 716.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 651.68 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals is one oldest pharmaceutical company in India. Internationally it has created many brands such as Ribena, Horlicks, Lucozade, Aquafresh, Sensodyne, Panadol, Tums and Zovirax, among others. It employs 5,000 people and has turnover of more than $1 billion in India.
