FIIs stood as net buyer in equities as per August 20 data: NSDL

20 Aug 2021 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyer in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9953.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 8850.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 1102.69 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 436.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 190.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 245.34 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.34 crore against gross selling of Rs 32.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net seller of Rs 30.53 crore in hybrid segment.
