Physical Rubber prices remain unchanged on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices remained unchanged on Wednesday, due to concerns over surging cases of Delta variant of Covid-19 globally. While, improved demand from certain tyre makers combined with supply constraints in the market supported rubber prices to some extent. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 179.50/ kg and Rs 177.50/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, September delivery lost Rs 179.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 179.45 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
