Physical Rubber prices remain unchanged on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices remained unchanged on Saturday due to lingering concerns over rising cases of the Delta variant of the coronavirus, while improved demand from certain tyre makers and supply constraints supported rubber prices to some extent. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 180/ kg and Rs 178/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, September delivery fell to Rs 178.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 179.19 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
