Chemplast Sanmar surges on redeeming NCDs worth Rs 1238.25 crore

Chemplast Sanmar is currently trading at Rs. 612.80, up by 12.95 points or 2.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 599.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 606.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 618.30 and Rs. 599.00 respectively. So far 60863 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 616.70 on 31-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 510.30 on 24-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 616.70 and Rs. 528.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9641.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 100.00%.

Chemplast Sanmar has redeemed, on August 31, 2021, the entire outstanding Non-convertible debentures (NCDs) that were issued in December 2019 by the company. The redemption of these NCDs amounting to Rs 1238.25 crore, which was part of the Objects of the primary issue, was made using the net proceeds of fresh issue of equity shares of the company (IPO) made in August 2021.

Chemplast Sanmar (CSL) is a specialty chemicals manufacturer in India with focus on specialty paste PVC resin and custom manufacturing of starting materials and intermediates for pharmaceutical, agro-chemical and fine chemicals sectors.
