NMDC has slashed prices of lump ore and fines by Rs 1,000 per tonne. Price of lump ore has been fixed at Rs 6,150 per tonne and that of fines at Rs 5,160 a tonne. The revised prices exclude royalty, District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust (DMET), cess, forest permit fee and other taxes. The new rates are effective from September 4, 2021.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
