Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed some weakness on Monday as buyer resistance and persisting concerns around corona-virus pressurized the market sentiment, although arrivals continued to remain low. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 179/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 177/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 177.50/ kg.

In the futures market, September delivery gained to Rs 179.10 compared to its previous closing of Rs 178.50 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
