Sundaram-Clayton has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu on behalf of TVS Motor Company and the wholly owned subsidiary of the company, namely Sundaram Auto Components in respect of their collective investment of Rs 700 Cr for a period of three years commencing from April 01, 2011 for the expansion of their existing facilities in Tamil Nadu and for availing the structured package offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Sundaram-Clayton manufactures and sells auto components in India. The company provides aluminum pressure die castings for heavy commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and two wheelers.
