Punjab Communications has informed that Moti Ram Sharma (DIN: 08250388) has expressed his inability to continue as an Independent Director of the Company, after expiry of the present tenure with effect from 25th September, 2021. Further, Moti Ram Sharma has confirmed that there are no other material reasons for his cessation other than those which is provided in his intimation letter dated 8th August, 2021. The said confirmation letter is enclosed. Consequently, he also cease to be a Member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee (NRC) of the Board with effective from 25th September, 2021. Accordingly, the BoD of the Company vide RBC passed on 23rd Sept, 2021, have approved and reconstituted the NRC of the Board and appointed Sh. Satinder Pal Singh, IAS (Retd.) (Non Executive, Independent Director) as a Member of NRC with effect from 25th September, 2021.
