BPCL rises on signing MoU with KINFRA

Bharat Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 420.70, up by 5.85 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 414.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 418.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 422.30 and Rs. 416.45 respectively. So far 333262 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 503.00 on 14-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 324.90 on 15-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 433.50 and Rs. 412.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 91379.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.85% and 11.17% respectively.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for co-operation in the petrochemical park project to be set up by KINFRA. The park, which is coming up in the 481 acre at Ambalamugal near here, aims at the industrial and economic growth of the state along with job creation. BPCL, a major player in the petrochemical industry, has been allotted 171 acre land for the project while in 250 acres, other petrochemical industrial units will function.

BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
