BSE all set with technology to introduce electronic gold receipts

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is all set with its technology to introduce electronic gold receipts (EGRs) on its platform. This will help in creating a uniform price structure of the gold across the country. The exchange will take the required internal approvals and apply to markets regulator Sebi for the launch of the new class of security on its platform.

BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in equity, debt instruments, derivatives, mutual funds. It also has a platform for trading in equities of small-and-medium enterprises (SME).
